Increase Nexus Battery Life by Filtering Your Screen

Screen absorbs most of the Galaxy nexus or nexus 7 or anything, the bad news is that the lowest brightness in amoled screens are still bright, the good news that Amoled can be filtered down using a simple application and it actually works and saves battery unlike other phones or tablets with LCD screens where filtering is useless.

There is many applications but there is an application that can be toggled easily and small in size and doesn't use cpu at all, it just places a filter on top of your screen and you can darken that as much as you want, and it will simulate a lower brightness which is good for your eyes and brain at night and good for your battery.

Screen filter on Google play store it's free :D this filter is useful for Galaxy nexus owners AMOLED, Nexus S and Nexus 7 can go for the second option only.

Screen Filter: Reduce the brightness of your screen, save battery.
Reduce the brightness of your screen for night-time viewing. Applies a shade that acts as a dimmer to ensure your eyes don't hurt. Far more powerful than Android's built-in brightness setting. Great for low-light gaming, web browsing, and eBook reading. It even saves battery life for AMOLED displays!
Another tip is to use timed brightness that changes every hour instead of automatic brightness which sucks CPU just detecting and changing brightness.

Download advanced brightness from Google Play market - free and small :D works on all Nexus AMOLED or LCD.
